Make your voice heard and become a Federation rep

HAMPSHIRE Police Federation is urging members to make their voice heard by voting in the upcoming Fed Rep elections.

Candidates have all put themselves forward to take on the Rep roles, so now it’s over to Hampshire officers to cast their votes.

“Members will be getting an email for their opportunity to vote for their new Reps,” Hampshire Police Federation Chair Zoe Wakefield said.

“Polls close in mid-August with the results announced on 1st September, and it’s really important members take the time to vote.

“Have a read about what people have written about themselves and vote for the Rep you think will make a difference.”

It’s vital people from across BAME and LGBTQ+ groups and from varying levels of experience are represented on the Federation, Zoe added.

“We have a few candidates from different groups, including those new in service, and it’s really important that everyone’s voice has representation and that there’s someone on the Federation who can understand your views and where you’re coming from.

“If you don’t vote, you can’t moan about your Rep!

“You might not need them every day, but they are there for you when things aren’t going great. They can help.”
