Have your say on pay: Days left to fill in Pay and Morale Survey
Colleagues have until Monday 11 December to have their say on remuneration before the latest survey on police pay closes.
Officers have been urged to fill in the questionnaire ahead of the deadline so Federation representatives can provide the latest stats when arguing for pay rises.
Zoë Wakefield, Hampshire Police Federation Chair, said: “This is really important. It’s difficult for us to go to the bosses and say, ‘Morale is really low. People are really fed up. People aren’t sleeping properly. People are in debt’ without any recent stats to back it up.
“The force does listen to this whenever the results are out. As soon as data is ready, we send them to the force; to the chief constable and to the Police and Crime Commissioner, and we then have a meeting with them to discuss the various aspects that are relevant to Hampshire, and what they are going to do about it. So it is really important that officers fill it out – particularly now at a time when there have been a lot of changes in our force.”
