Chief Constable Will Be Missed On Her College Secondment
THE Chair of Hampshire Police Federation has said she’s sorry that Chief Constable Olivia Pinkney is leaving her role on secondment – and that she’s really listened to officers over the years.
CC Pinkney, who has been Hampshire’s Chief Constable since 2016, is going on secondment to lead the College of Policing’s Strategic Command course, where she will oversee the leadership development programme, preparing police officers and staff for the most senior ranks.
Federation Chair Zoë Wakefield said: “We don’t want her to go! We realise how lucky we are to have a Chief Constable who listens to officers and has a good working relationship with the Federation. She has promised me she will come back.
“I’m very pleased for her though and wish her all the best in her new role.”
